I am a multidisciplinary visual artist merging the Black experience and culture with spirituality to channel growth, self-love, and liberation into the Black community.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Tanganyika Zinzani is a multidisciplinary visual artist that creates colorful works merging the Black experience and culture with spirituality to channel growth, self-love, and liberation into the Black community.
She received her BA from Seton Hall University in Art, Design and Interactive Media with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Fine & Digital Art. At the close of her junior year, she began her entrepreneurial journey with the launch of her business—Zinzani Studios—that has evolved into a lifestyle brand infusing art, wellness, and culture.
Zinzani features her art on various products within her brand while also working as a freelancer to bring her clients’ vision to life. Her work can be found on websites including NPR and Women’s Health Magazine, among others.
Tanganyika Zinzani is a painter, collage artist, photographer, graphic designer, illustrator, creative director, and curator. She has been regarded as a “master of color” and a “triple threat” for her captivating color combinations and vast artistic range.
